The Lobster

Oceans of Fun!  We had a great time swimming on over to watch Libby in the first grade musical production!  She was one hot Lobster--singing and dancing and saying her lines, "Hey!  Could one of you fish clean off my scales?  The bacterial is KILLING me!"  

One day Lib came home and said, "Mom!  I get to do the splits in the play!'  She was thrilled.   

 

Libby invited Granny B.  It was nice of her to make time to come and join our little cheering section.   Libby the Lobster sure felt special.

I can't believe school is winding down this week.  First grade has been so much fun.  Libby loves her teacher, Mrs. Carter.  She wrote the sweetest note the other day to give to her teacher.  It said, "I don't want to leave the first grade.  I love you Mrs. Carter." 

Libby has been an excellent student.  She has a quick math brain and she gets 100% on her spelling tests almost every week.  Her reading skills are improving in leaps and bounds.  It is fun to hear her read real books.  She makes cute voices and knows when to make her voice sound happy, sad, excited, quiet, and loud....all sorts of fun ways to make the story interesting and fun.

Just a few more days until Summer Break officially begins.  Can't wait to have this little crustacean home with us to play all day. 

 

The Big Boy

Gage is officially a Big Big Boy.  Why?  Because he is going potty on the toilet!

No more diapers!  We couldn't be more excited about it.  :)

We started out with a little prize bucket full of fun goodies for him to choose after each time he successfully went potty in the toilet.  It only took a few day until he was going like a champ!  I was so relieved to have it go so well.  Gage loves being a big brother!   Now he feels even more like the big boy around here...

 

The Model

 Little brother is getting bigger and bigger every day too!  Tomorrow he will be three months old.  

My oh my...where does the time go??  He is so chubby and happy and we just kiss him and squeeze him and love on him all day long. 

I wanted to get a few "good" pictures of him, so the other day I grabbed my camera and snapped some photos in the backyard.  He was such a little ham--smiling and loving the attention. 

 

 

 

Natalie is still head over heels in love with this cute little monster.

 

At three months old Oliver is sleeping through the night.  (thank you thank you thank you little boy.)

He is starting to coo and talk.  He is wearing 6-9 month size clothes.

He is ticklish and will giggle when we wiggle our fingers along his neck.  

He is a little chubby thing and he weighs almost 15 pounds.

The Graduate

Today Natalie graduated from Joy School!  We had a little graduation ceremony to celebrate.  They sang some fun songs and got a diploma.  We watched a picture show with photographs from the activities we did this past year.  And we ate cake!

Aren't these kids cute?!  We had so much fun playing and learning together.

I loved hearing what each teacher-mommy did for their week's with the kids.

Our little Joy School class was certainly spoiled.

This little lady is ready for Kindergarten!

She is so smart.  I think she is a little more prepared for school than Lib was.

Natty knows her letters and sounds.  She can write her name and color in the lines.

She is so social and loves to make friends.  Natalie really enjoyed Joy School.  

The other day she said, "Mom!  Keaton and Olle have a crush on me!"

I wouldn't be surprised if they do!  She is one cute little lady.
