A few years ago Cord's sister gave us their old barbeque grill. It had some issues. The main one being that it only cooked on one side. It made for a small cooking space. So, the grill sat and sat and got a few spider webs on it. I told Cord it was time to get rid of it! You see, we really needed a place to do some killer barbecues... because of this:

One third of a cow sitting in our freezer!
Well, the other night he decided to fix it! He had seen our brother Chad fix a grill camping the other weekend and figured he could do the same! After about ten minutes and little bit of charcoal dust on the sidewalk later...whoola! We had a nice (new) grill to cook on! What a man. He did a little scrubbing, added some new charcoal, fired it up and this is what we got:
Two VERY yummy steaks. We are going to have some very happy summer nights.

Holy Cow!! he..he.. I wish I had that much meat in my freezer :) Looks yummy. Cord can fix anything, just like my Dad, my Husband, and a few other guys we know :) Happy BBQing!
Adelle, I'm so glad Cord fixed it all up. We actually used gift cards we got at our wedding in 1998 to purchase that grill from ZCMI (which doesn't exist in Utah any more). We were glad to give it to you guys when we bought a new one a few summers ago. I'm so glad it's up and working well for you all. It has some great sentimental value for us. Cord looks like a natural BBQ-er man. Good thing - looks like you'll be cooking quite a bit of meat. Getting part of a cow is the only way to go!
WTG COrd! That is fantstic. We love grilling during the summer, and winter sometimes too! And a freezer full of meat is great food storage!
Talk about food storage! Very nice you'll have somewhere to cook it all. Isn't it nice to have a 'handyman'!!
