There are times as a parent when you get a chance to enjoy perfect moments--special moments of time where your heart feels like it is going to break into a million pieces because there is so much joy and love inside of it. This was one of those times for me. About two minutes into our breakfast, I looked over at Cord and found that he felt the same way (judging by the tears welling in his eyes.) It really was a perfect morning. It was worth every penny. And it cost a lot of pennies!
We started off our breakfast, with a little meet and greet with Ariel.
Gage was the best to watch because he seriously thought they were the ACTUAL people from the movies. He was under the spell for sure. The girl's were excited too. They would get kind of nervous when each princess was about to come to our table. I just loved watching them interact.
We got to meet a few more princesses, Belle and Tiana, while we waited for our food order to arrive. The kids also took a minute to decorate their crowns with stickers!
Our breakfast was incredible. Cord ordered steak! It was so fancy. The kids meals were brought to the table with style. The waffles were shaped like boats floating on a frosting ocean. They had tiny pitchers of milk with little bowls of cereal. Libby loved how tiny they were! My breakfast was amazing. We were all in food heaven. And, the princesses kept coming!
Natalie pointed to the boysenberry on the plate of berries and asked me, "What is that?" I told her, "A boysenberry." She thought that I said, "A POISONED berry!" Her eyes got big and she immediately dropped the fruit back onto the serving dish. We all laughed when she said in a scared voice, "A Poisoned berry?!!" Silly Natalie. I guess anything IS possible in the land of make believe...
As we finished our meal, we got to say goodbye to our last princess, Cinderella! She was beautiful and sweet, and we were so happy to see her.
We had such a magical experience. Every minute was full of happiness. I am so glad my little kiddos had a chance to meet such sweet princesses and to have such a beautiful breakfast. My heart was truly full. It was a perfect way to start our Disney Adventure!
